Lori Turner addresses the Dayton AMA

The last meeting of the 2004-2005 year for the Dayton AMA was held today at the Mandalay Banquet center. A crowd of about 30 Dayton area marketing professionals showed up to hear Lori Turner deliver a great presentation on "Successful Launch Techniques." Lori was excellent, speaking candidly for about 45 minutes on the in's and out's of how to effectively launch a new product or service offering. She cited numerous examples from her years of experience in the field, stressing the importance of research, patience, focus, cooperation, and execution in producing a successful launch. I think I can speak for everyone who attended when I say that the year ended on a high note with Lori's fantastic presentation. Thank you to Lori, Julie Lehmann, Jesse Ranley and everyone at Turner Marketing for doing such a fantastic job.

Jotspot

Do you know what a "wiki" is? Well Jotspot is a new, user friendly wiki site that is getting up and running. I was pointed to this site from a post by Toby Bloomberg of Bloomberg Marketing on her Diva Marketing blog.

A Wiki or wiki is a web application that allows users to add content, as on an Internet forum, but also allows anyone to edit the content. The name was based on the Hawaiian term wiki wiki, meaning "quick" or "super-fast".

Jotspot is a free wiki that allows you to check out this emerging technology. It has so much potential for personal and business use. Check out their site. It has a great tutorial on wiki's and how to use them. They will also set you up for free if you are interested.
